79,500 SF Aquatic Center features the only indoor Olympic-sized (50m) competitive pool in the Hampton Roads. The Aquatic Center has seating for 500, 3m and 1m meter diving boards, a 14’ deep diving well, and is enclosed by an aluminum structural frame with a full retractable roof-top skylight for natural lighting and ventilation. Interiors areas included wood floor basketball gymnasium, roofed outdoor basketball courts, administrative offices, multi-use rooms, computer learning center, food service areas, and a cafeteria/restaurant. Pool filtration systems were installed to maintain water quality control in accordance to the Department of Environmental Health.
