The phased work of this project includes general and sitework construction of a new middle school building and the demolition of the existing Oscar Smith Middle School. The project site encompasses approximately 22 acres and includes building and sitework demolition of an existing 108,615 SF building. The new middle school building will be approximately 252,524 SF for additional nine (9) classrooms. The new school building includes classrooms, laboratories, gymnasium, auditorium, administrative spaces and other educational spaces. The sitework consist of on and off site improvements including utility work, rainwater harvest system, roads, parking lots, grading, and landscaping,. The existing school building will remain in operation while the new school is being constructed.
